Eleanor was born in 1215 in Gloucester, Gloucestershire, England.  Eleanor's father was John I Plantagenet and her mother was Isabella Taillefer De Angouleme.  Her paternal grandparents were Henry II Plantagenet and Eleanore D'Aquitaine; her maternal grandparents were Aymer Taillefer De Angouleme and Alice De Courtenay. She had two brothers and two sisters, named Henry III, Richard Angevin, Joan and Isabel. She had six half-brothers and seven half-sisters, named Richard, Hugh XI, Geoffrey, Henry, William De Valence, Guy, Joan, UNKNOWN, Agatha le Brun, Margaret le Brun, Alice le Brun, Aylmer and Isabella.  She died at the age of 60 on April 13th, 1275 in Montargis Abbey, Loiret, France.  She was buried in Montargis Abbey, Loiret, France.

‌Eleanor and William were married in a religious ceremony on April 23rd, 1224.

They had two sons and a daughter, named Guy, Richard FitzSimon and Eleanor.
