Matilda Empress of Germany Queen of was born on August 5th, 1102 in Winchester, Hampshire, England.  Matilda Empress of Germany Queen of's father was Henry I Beauclerc and her mother was Matilda Dunkeld of Scotland.  Her paternal grandparents were William I De Normandy and Matilda De Flanders; her maternal grandparents were Malcolm III Caennmor and Margaret Atheling. She had two brothers named William and Richard.  She was the oldest of the three children. She had five half-brothers and seven half-sisters, named Robert, Reginald, UNKNOWN, Henry, William, Sybilla, UNKNOWN, UNKNOWN, Matilda, Matilda, Elizabeth and Alice.  She died at the age of 67 on September 10th, 1169 in Notre Dame, Rouen, Seine-Maritime, Normandy.
