Matilda Dunkeld of was born in October 1079 in Dunfermline, Fifeshire, Scotland.  Matilda Dunkeld of's father was Malcolm III Caennmor and her mother was Margaret Atheling.  Her paternal grandparents were I Duncan and Aelflaed of Northumbria; her maternal grandparents were Edward Aethling and Agatha Von Braunschweig. She had five brothers and a sister, named Heth Ethelred of, UNKNOWN, Edmund I of, Alexander I, David I and Mary.  She was the second youngest of the seven children. She had three half-brothers named II, UNKNOWN and UNKNOWN.  She died at the age of 38 on May 1st, 1118 in Westminster Palace, London, England.
