Marjory of was born about 1270 in Mar, Aberdeenshire, Scotland.  Marjory of's father was Donald MacGylocher of Mar and her mother was Helen Elen Llywelyn Fawr.  Her paternal grandparents were William MacGylocher of Mar and Elizabeth Comyn; her maternal grandparents were Llywelyn Fawr ap Iowerth and Joan Plantagenet. She had three brothers and two sisters, named Gratney MacGlylocher of, Duncan of, Alexander of, Isabell of and Mary of.  She was the oldest of the six children. She had a half-brother and four half-sisters, named Colbran, Anne, Joane, Margaret and Sophia.  She died before July 24th, 1326 in Dunrobin Castle, Golspie, Sutherland, Scotland.
