Idoine was born in 1303 in Appleby, Westmoreland, England.  Idoine's father was Robert de Clifford and her mother was Matilda de Clare.  Her paternal grandparents were Roger de Clifford and Isabel de Vipont; her maternal grandparents were Thomas de Clare and Juliane FitzMaurice Fitzgerald of Offaly. She had two brothers and a sister, named Robert II, Roger and Margaret.  She died at the age of 62 on August 24th, 1365.  She was buried in Beverley Minster, Beverley, Yorkshire, England.


Idoine's family with Henry IV de Percy

‌Idoine and Henry IV were married in a religious ceremony about 1324.  They had five sons and four daughters, named Robert, Roger, Thomas, William, Henry V, Eleanor, Margaret, Isabel and Maud.
