Joan (Joanna) of was born in 1191.  Joan (Joanna) of's father was John I Plantagenet Lackland of England and her mother was Clementina Dauntsey.  Her paternal grandparents were Henry II Curtmantle FitzEmpress of England and Eleanor of Aquitaine. She had eleven half-brothers and four half-sisters, named Henry III Plantagenet of, Richard of, Richard FitzJohn de Chilham of, UNKNOWN, John FitzJohn, UNKNOWN, UNKNOWN, Geoffrey, Odo, Osbert, Matilda of, Joan (Gwenllian) Plantagenet of, Isabella (Elizabeth) of, Eleanor (Nell) Plantagenet of and Isabella.  She died in Aber.  She was buried in Friary of Llanfaes, Wales.

‌Joan (Joanna) of and Llywelyn Fawr the Great ap Iowerth of were married in a religious ceremony on June 18th, 1205.  They had two sons and three daughters, named Dafydd II ap Llywelyn, Tegwared-y-Bais Wen ap Llywelyn, Elen (Helena) verch Llywelyn, Angharad verch Llywelyn and Margaret verch Llywelyn.
