William VI\VIII (Guido) of was born about 1026.  William VI\VIII (Guido) of's father was William III (V Aquitaine) the Great of Normandy and his mother was Agnes de Macon of Burgundy.  His paternal grandparents were William II (IV Aquitaine) Ironarm of Normandy and Emma of Blois; his maternal grandparents were Otton I (Otto William) of Lombardy and Ermentrude de Roucy. He had a brother and two sisters, named William V\VII (Peter) of, Agnes de Poitou and Beatrix of.  He was the youngest of the four children. He had three half-brothers named William IV\VI of, Odo (Eudes) of and Theobald of.  He died on September 25th, 1086 in Chateau de Chize, France.
