Daisy Eunice was born in 1888 in Talbot. Daisy Eunice's father was Peter Robert CHALLEN and her mother was Florence Sharp PEARSON.  Her paternal grandparents were Charles William CHALLEN and Jane MERRETT. She had seven brothers and five sisters, named Robert William, Matthew Bradbury, Ernest Blandforth, Richard Linton, Arthur Browning, Oliver Leopold, Benjamin Milton, Florence Elizabeth, Alice Maud, Grace, Emily Jane and Lucy Matilda.  She was the second youngest of the thirteen children.
