Birth Notes

Charles' father was Howarth Watson and his mother was Rachel Mather. His maternal grandparents were John Mather and Jane Entwistle. He had eight brothers and five sisters, named William, James, John, Amos, Haworth, Henry, Howarth, Henry, Mary, Martha, Margaret, Sarah and Bella. He was the second oldest of the fourteen children.
