Bella was born in 1877 in Darwen.¹

Birth Notes

Bella's father was Howarth Watson and her mother was Rachel Mather. Her maternal grandparents were John Mather and Jane Entwistle. She had nine brothers and four sisters, named William, Charles, James, John, Amos, Haworth, Henry, Howarth, Henry, Mary, Martha, Margaret and Sarah. She was the third youngest of the fourteen children.
