Amos was born in 1867 in Darwen.¹

Birth Notes

Amos' father was Howarth Watson and his mother was Rachel Mather. His maternal grandparents were John Mather and Jane Entwistle. He had eight brothers and five sisters, named William, Charles, James, John, Haworth, Henry, Howarth, Henry, Mary, Martha, Margaret, Sarah and Bella. He was the fifth oldest of the fourteen children. He died in 1867 in Darwen.¹
