Rachel Mather

Rachel was born in January 1838 in Lower Darwen.¹

Rachel's father was John Mather and her mother was Jane Entwistle. Her paternal grandparents were James Mather and Rachel Hamer. She had four brothers and a sister, named Charles, John, Ralph, John and Mary. She was the fourth oldest of the six children. She died at the age of 67 in December 1905 in Blackburn.²
