Ruth Stocks

Ruth was born in 1801 in Berry Brow.

Ruth's father was George Stocks and her mother was Mary Blackburn. Her paternal grandparents were Joseph Stocks and Elizabeth Perkin; her maternal grandparents were Michael Blackburn and Hannah Scover. She had three brothers and five sisters, and also a sibling of unknown gender, named Benjamin, Michael, Job, Betty, Esther, Susannah, Esther, Ruth and <child>. She was the eighth oldest of the ten children. She died at the age of 2 in July 1803 in Almondbury. Her burial was on August 3rd, 1803 in Almondbury.¹
