Esther Stocks

Esther was born in October 1793 in Berry Brow and her christening took place on October 13th, 1793 in Almondbury.¹

Esther's father was George Stocks and her mother was Mary Blackburn. Her paternal grandparents were Joseph Stocks and Elizabeth Perkin; her maternal grandparents were Michael Blackburn and Hannah Scover. She had three brothers and five sisters, and also a sibling of unknown gender, named Benjamin, Michael, Job, Betty, Esther, Susannah, Ruth, Ruth and <child>. She was the fifth oldest of the ten children.

Death Notes
- Believed to have died before 1837 (as no matching GRO death record), and before 1835 if Thomas remarried Mary, but cant find a death or burial record.

- Esther may have married Thomas Buthroyd and had a daughter Mary, baptised 26 May 1817.
