General Notes
Only marriage I can find is between Ruth Stocks and John Howarth, 14-Mar-1833 at Mirfield. This is about 8 miles from Berry Brow on the other side of Huddersfield, so is not a good match. It is more likely Ruth died as a child. There are baptism and burial records for this Ruth, father named as George.
Also, another Ruth, daughter of George Stocks, was buried at Almondbury, 3-Aug-1803, aged 2.
