William Samuel Sherlock

William was born on October 19th, 1910 in Birkenhead.¹

William's father was Richard Sherlock and his mother was Lily Whitehead. His paternal grandparents were Samuel Sherlock and Lydia Eddowes. He had four brothers and four sisters, named Robert, Richard, Thomas, Donald, Lily, Mary, Lydia and Dorothy. He was the fourth oldest of the nine children. He died at the age of 72 in January 1983 in Birkenhead.²
