Thomas was born in September 1918 in Birkenhead.¹

Birth Notes

Thomas' father was Richard Sherlock and his mother was Lily Whitehead. His paternal grandparents were Samuel Sherlock and Lydia Eddowes. He had four brothers and four sisters, named Robert, Richard, William, Donald, Lily, Mary, Lydia and Dorothy. He was the third youngest of the nine children. He died at the age of 1 in March 1920 in Birkenhead.¹
