William Rostron

William was born in December 1838. William's father was James Mather and his mother was Catherine Rawsthorn or ROSTRON. His paternal grandparents were <unknown> and Jane Mather. He had two brothers and five sisters, named Henry, James, Susannah, Jane, Peggy, Lavinia and Lavinia. He was the second youngest of the eight children. He died at 3 months old in March 1839 in Bolton.¹
