Lavinia Mather

Lavinia was born in October 1829 in Bolton and her baptism took place on October 23rd, 1829 at St. Peter's (Bolton).¹

Lavinia's father was James Mather and her mother was Catherine Rawsthorn or ROSTRON.  Her paternal grandparents were <unknown> and Jane Mather. She had three brothers and four sisters, named Henry, James, William, Susannah, Jane, Peggy and Lavinia.  She was the fourth oldest of the eight children.  She died at the age of 2 in April 1832 in Bolton.  She was buried on April 23rd, 1832 at St. Peter's (Bolton).^2 3
