Henry Mather

Henry was born in 1833 in Bolton and his baptism took place on May 18th, 1834 at St. Peter's (Bolton).¹

Henry's father was James Mather and his mother was Catherine Rawsthorn or ROSTRON. His paternal grandparents were <unknown> and Jane Mather. He had two brothers and five sisters, named James, William, Susannah, Jane, Peggy, Lavinia and Lavinia. He was the fifth oldest of the eight children.

- In 1841, Henry is with his parents, aged 8 at Corronation Street.
  
  Henry appears to have been adopted by Betty Harner, who lists Henry as her son (age 15).
