Jane and Abraham were married in a religious ceremony on May 31st, 1846 at St. Peter's (Bolton) by Curate Thomas Loxham and witnessed by James Bee.4 They had five sons and three daughters, named John, William, Robert, James, Thomas, Ann, Betsy and Mary. There are no more children. James and Thomas were twins.
