Joseph Rigby

Joseph was born in 1837 in Adlington and his baptism took place on January 22nd, 1837 in Rivington.¹²

Joseph's father was Thomas Rigby and his mother was Betty Mather. His maternal grandparents were <unknown> and Mary Mather. He had three brothers and five sisters, named John, Alfred, Thomas, Alice, Mary, Alice, Sarah and Catherine. He was the third oldest of the nine children.
