Birth Notes

Mona's father was Herbert Dutton Mercer and her mother was Mary Moutray. Her paternal grandparents were John Robert Mercer and Emily Anne Herring. She had five brothers and four sisters, named Henry, John, Gerald, Herbert, Alexander, Alice, Eileen, Emily and Dorothy. She was the second oldest of the ten children.
