Herbert Mercer

Herbert was born in September 1915 in Birkenhead.¹

Birth Notes

Herbert's father was Herbert Dutton Mercer and his mother was Mary Moutray. His paternal grandparents were John Robert Mercer and Emily Anne Herring. He had four brothers and five sisters, named Henry, John, Gerald, Alexander, Mona, Alice, Eileen, Emily and Dorothy. He was the second youngest of the ten children.
