In 1841 Joseph (63), Thomas (40) and John (38) were all weavers at Kay Street. Mary Mather (60) was listed seperately (after John Heaton), so may be Joseph's sister.
In 1851, Joseph and Mary his wife (both 73), Thomas (52) and John (50), all still hand loom weavers at 97 Kay Street, Little Bolton.
In 1861, Thomas was not with his father and brother John, so had possibly died. However, the only matching death record in in 1879, so he may have married Ellen Walkden in 1857 or Jane Dobson in 1858 (both RO). He may have been boarding with John and Hannah Hilton (63, Thomas, Silk Hand Loom Weaver, born L.B. but recorded as a Hilton)
In 1871, Another Thomas (73), Unmarried, and a boarder with George German at 210 Pikes Lane, West Bolton, a "Cotton Weaver at Home". Thomas of Western Bolton died in March 1879, aged 81. He is buried at New Bury Churchyard (near Farnworth), South of Bolton.
