Hannah Mather

Hannah was born in October 1814 in Little Bolton and her baptism took place on October 16th, 1814 at St. Peter's (Bolton) conducted by Canon Thomas Brocklebank.¹

Hannah's father was Joseph (Joshua) Mather and her mother was Mary Thorp.  Her paternal grandparents were William Mather and Betty Holt. She had two brothers and three sisters, named Thomas, John, Joseph, Betsy and Sarah.  She was the youngest of the six children.  She died at the age of 1 in January 1816 in Little Bolton.  She was buried on January 28th, 1816 at St. Peter's (Bolton).²
