Birth Notes

Samuel's father was Samuel Mather and his mother was Sarah Hulton (nee Lee). His paternal grandparents were Jeremiah (Jeremy) Mather and Alice Lord. He had a brother and three sisters, named William, Alice, Ruth and Mary. He was the third oldest of the five children.
