Birth Notes

Alice's father was Samuel Mather and her mother was Sarah Hulton (nee Lee). Her paternal grandparents were Jeremiah (Jeremy) Mather and Alice Lord. She had two brothers and two sisters, named Samuel, William, Ruth and Mary. She was the oldest of the five children.
