Robert Mather

Robert was born on August 13th, 1814 in Whitefield.¹

Robert's father was Jesse Mather and his mother was Hannah Emmerson. His paternal grandparents were Thomas Mather and Margaret Scholes. He had four brothers and seven sisters, named James, Joseph, Nathan, Aaron, Betty, Ellen, Hannah, Mary, Sarah, Rachel and Leah. He had an adopted sister named Esther. He died at the age of 70 in January 1885 in Radcliffe. His burial was in January 1885 at St. Thomas (Radcliffe).²
