27 May 1849 Mary, daughter of Jesse mather married Thomas Briggs, a brick layer at Stand All Saints. Both were living at Half Acre. Nathan Mather was a witness.
In 1861, Thomas and Mary Briggs (35 & 34) were at Newton Heath, Manchester with Elizabeth Ann (4) and Mark (3)
Mary and Thomas were married in a religious ceremony on May 27th, 1849 at All Saints (Stand) by Curate Thomas Corser and witnessed by Nathan Mather & George Hilton.2
