Mary Mather

Mary was born in April 1848 in Little Hulton and her baptism took place on April 28th, 1848 in Deane.¹²

Mary's father was Henry Mather and her mother was Sarah (Sally) Swindels. Her paternal grandparents were James Topping and Alice Mather. She had seven brothers and three sisters, named William, James, Levi, Joseph, Andrew, John, Peter, Molly, Mally and Alice. She had two adopted brothers named Henry and James. She died at the age of 73 on June 20th, 1921 in Little Hulton. Her burial was in June 1921 in Little Hulton.³
