Henry is a possible son of John and Matty, born Atherton 25 Feb 1804, or he more likely the bastard child of Alice Mather of Little Hulton, baptised 8 March 1803. Alice maried James Topping the following month.
Henry recorded his place of birth as Little Hulton, which is where he was in 1851 and 1861, but in 1841 was a Coal Minor at Pendleton Street, Pendleton, Eccles.
The Henry from Windle, St Helens is another who died 13 Mar 1839, aged 36. There another Henry from Eccleston, Wigan who died 29 Dec 1850, aged 47, so all three born about 1803.
