Martha Mather

Martha was born on June 1st, 1831 in Radcliffe and her baptism took place on July 3rd, 1831 at St. Mary (Radcliffe).¹

Martha's father was Thomas Mather and her mother was Mary Taylor. Her paternal grandparents were James Mather and Mary Melling. She had two brothers and five sisters, named Thomas, James, Alice, Sarah, Eliza, Hannah and Elizabeth. She was the fourth oldest of the eight children. She had a half-brother and a half-sister, named James and Mary. She died at the age of 48 on November 27th, 1879 in Radcliffe.²
