In 1871, Martha (unmarried, 26, born Quarlton) and living with parents at Pelton Fold had Richard (8) and Sarah Jane (5).
In 1881, Martha (36, born Quarlton) was Head at Turton Bottoms. She was unmarried, a Rag Picker at the Paper Mill, but had three children, Richard, Elizabeth Ellen and George (17, 3, & 9 mo). She should be 40, so could be wrong Martha
Martha and <unknown> were in a committed relationship They had a son and three daughters, named George, Richard, Sarah and Elizabeth.
