The Thomas, son of Joshua and Margaret is another from Walton-le-Dale. That Thomas married Jenny Rigby.
Thomas probably has a sister Betty Mather who married John Isherwood in 1791. They also had a family at Quarlton.
Possibly brother of Robert Mather, b.about 1766 who had a son Lambert Mather.
There seems to be no 1841 Turton census record for Thomas, yet he died in 1842 and is buried at St. Anne's. Perhaps he was the 70y old Shoe Maker, retired at Walton-le-Dale yet burial says of Edgworth
