Kitty (Hetty) Mather

Kitty, known as Hetty, was born in June 1856 in Sharples.¹

Hetty's father was Henry Mather and her mother was Mary Sim. Her paternal grandparents were Samuel Whitehead and Margaret (Peggy) Mather. She had a brother and two sisters, named Joshua, Margaret and Lucy. She was the youngest of the four children. She had two half-brothers named George and Alexander.

- Like Margaret and Lucy's births, Kitty's birth was also registered in Sharples. All are assumed daughters of Hanry and Mary.
