John Mather

John's father was John Mather and his mother was Elizabeth Naylor. His paternal grandparents were Thomas Mather and Hannah (Ann) Kirkham. He had five brothers and two sisters, named Arthur, Thomas, Ernest, Charles, James, John and Annie. He was the fifth oldest of the eight children. He died at the age of 82 in April 1967 in Bolton.³
