Hannah (Annie) Mather

Hannah, known as Annie, was born in December 1886 in Turton.¹

Annie's father was John Mather and her mother was Elizabeth Naylor. Her paternal grandparents were Thomas Mather and Hannah (Ann) Kirkham. She had six brothers and a sister, named Arthur, Thomas, Ernest, John, Charles, James and John. She was the sixth oldest of the eight children.

General Notes
- In 1911, Annie was with her parents John and Elizabeth, Annie married Walter Woodward in 1907 and had John and Lilly Woodward (3 & 2) with her in 1911.
  
  In 1912, John and Lily (4 & 3) travelled to Quebec, Canada to be met by their father. This is why he was missing on the 1911 census.
