Jane Elizabeth Mather

Jane was born on September 2nd, 1854 in Blackrod and her baptism took place on September 24th, 1854 at St. Katherine (B'rod).¹

Jane's father was Richard Mather and her mother was Jane Walls. Her paternal grandparents were Nathan Mather and Alice Makinson. She had three brothers and three sisters, named James, Nathan, John, Ann, Alice and Mary. She was the sixth oldest of the seven children. She died at the age of 84 on May 29th, 1939 in Preston. Her burial was on June 2nd, 1939 at St. Katherine (B'rod).¹²
