Thomas Mather

Thomas was born in 1734 in Heath Charnock and his baptism took place on July 14th, 1734 in Little Lever.¹

Thomas' father was Ralph Mather and his mother was Ann Anderton. His paternal grandparents were Thomas Mather and Margaret Kellett. He had two brothers and four sisters, named James, Ralph, Ann, Betty, Elizabeth and Mary. He was the oldest of the seven children.
