Ralph Mather

Ralph was born in 1750 in Heath Charnock and his baptism took place on June 17th, 1750 in Rivington.¹²

  Some early Rivington Baptisms are listed on the Little Lever parish register. I suspect all Ralph Mather's children born at (Heath) Charnock were actually baptised at Rivington (and recorded at Little Lever).

Ralph's father was Ralph Mather and his mother was Ann Anderton. His paternal grandparents were Thomas Mather and Margaret Kellett. He had two brothers and four sisters, named Thomas, James, Ann, Betty, Elizabeth and Mary. He was the youngest of the seven children.

Death Notes
- Ralph and Ellen are not the couple buried at Ashworth (Middleton). They were younger Ralph Mather (1777-1843) and Ellen (1774-1837)
