Elizabeth was born on April 2nd, 1745 in Anderton and her baptism took place on April 2nd, 1745 in Rivington.1  Elizabeth's father was Ralph Mather and her mother was Ann Anderton.  Her paternal grandparents were Thomas Mather and Margaret Kellett. She had three brothers and three sisters, named Thomas, James, Ralph, Ann, Betty and Mary.  She was the third youngest of the seven children.  She died at just 10 days old on April 12th, 1745 in Anderton.2
