Alice Mather

Alice was born on May 3rd, 1853 in Blackrod and her baptism took place on May 15th, 1853 at St. Katherine (B'rod).¹

Alice's father was Richard Mather and her mother was Jane Walls. Her paternal grandparents were Nathan Mather and Alice Makinson. She had three brothers and three sisters, named James, Nathan, John, Ann, Jane and Mary. She was the fifth oldest of the seven children. She died at just 28 days old on May 31st, 1853. Her burial was in June 1853 at St. Katherine (B'rod).²
