In 1841, both James Mather and Elizabeth Stevens families were living at Bedford Row, Egerton.
27 April 1845, James Mather, spinner of Egerton, son of Henry Mather, a Dyer married Elizabeth Stevens, daughter of Joseph Stevens at St. Peter, Bolton. Both were living at Bedford Row in 1841.
By 1851, James hed died. The only death registered is at Tottington, North Bury in 1848. By 1851, Elizabeth was back with her mother at Turton Row.
