William Mather (Madder on the early baptism records) was from Lower Lane (or Town Lane after 1790), Haslingden.
After 1796, the family appear to have moved away from Hasslingden (no marriages or death for any of the children). They probably stayed nearby in Turton where Henry is buried.
William possibly died in Droylsden, Manchester (about 20 miles South of Haslingden).
