Abraham was born 1723 at Church Hill, Haslingden, son of John a feltmaker and Martha.
Another Abraham Mather married Grace Topper at Great Harwood (7 miles NNW) 19 July 1746. It cant be this Abraham, as the baptism records of his children (starting 1744) name the mother as Ann.
In 1775, Sarah, daughter of Abraham and Lydia (not Ann) was born. It cant be same Abraham with abode Lower Lane, Haslingden, so Abraham's son Abraham must be older than his baptism implies.
In 1790, Anne and Abraham (of Town) both died in April, two weeks appart
