General Notes
Charles's birth shows mothers name formerly Chadwick. However, there is no Mather+Chadwick marriage. The 1824 marriage to Mary Howarth seems more likely, except this Mary is from Oldham. Perhpas this is the Mary Chadwick who married Thomas Howarth at Todmorden in 1821.
In 1851, Mary (53, born Wigan) was with William (22, b. Manchester) and Henry and Caroline (20 & 15, mborn Turton) visiting Henry Blackledge at the Cotton Mill in Yorkshire St Paul, East Sculcoates.
Mary and Henry were married in a religious ceremony on May 23rd, 1824 in Prestwich.3 They had four sons and a daughter, named James, William, Henry, Charles and Caroline. There are no more children.
