Isaac Mather

Isaac was born on February 17th, 1804 in Blackrod and his christening took place on April 1st, 1804 at St. Katherine (B'rod).¹

  Isaac 6th Son of John Mather of Blackrod by Ann his wife D'r of Tho's Entwistle of Rivington, born Feb 17th Bap. April 1st.

Isaac's father was John Mather and his mother was Ann Entwistle. His paternal grandparents were Thomas Mather and Betty Bromiley. He had five brothers and three sisters, named Thomas, Nathan, John, George, James, Mary, Betty and Alice. He was the youngest of the nine children. He died at the age of 28 in August 1832 in Blackrod. His burial was on August 5th, 1832 in Blackrod.²
