In 1851, Elizabeth Mather (28, b.Bolton) was Head of a boarding house at 122 Lord Street, North Meols with her nieces Elizabeth Ann and Mary Taylor Adams (7 & 4) from Bolton and three other young visitors, all from Manchester.
10 Feb 1858 Elizabeth Mather (44, father John Mather, Mechanic) married James Wilson (54) at Trinity Church Southport by Licence. James was a commercial traveller, a widower from Liverpool, son of John Wilson, a Labourer.
In 1861, James and Elizaberth Wilson (57 & 47) were still living at 122 Lord St. North Meols.
In 1871, Elizaberth Wilson (Head, Wid, 60) was a lodging house keeper, still living at 118 Lord Street, North Meols, Southport. James had died in 1866
21 Feb 1881, Betsy Wilson widow of James, aged 70, of Markland Lane, Heaton died of Chronic Bronchitis. Joseph Allen "Cousin" was present at the death.
