  Elizabeth, known as Betty, was born in 1811 in Little Bolton and her baptism took place on December 29th, 1811 at St. Peter (Halliwell).⁴

      Elizabeth Mather Wilson died in 1881 as Betsy Wilson, abode Heaton and is buried in St. Peter’s Churchyard, Halliwell, in the same grave as Richard Allen, and wife Hannah Heaton Allen [dau. of Elizth (Betsy) Mather and Edmund Heaton] together with other Allen family members.

  She died due to a respiratory problem and/or pneumonia, Chronic Bronchitis, at the age of 70 on February 21st, 1881 in Heaton Park.⁵
